This seems to be a 5kg batch of melo. Carbonated as usual... Meaning too much. I have floaters right off the bat. This will have a permanent affect on my future practices.
Again, very bitter. Surprisingly so and not as good as the biscuit. A little cidery as well... Probably due to the extra cane sugar.
Much more blonde than the biscuit. I think that this bitterness has a lot to do with tannins. Must review my squeezing of the bag.
Not as satisfying. Dry in addition to being bitter.
Good head and retention and lacing, tho. Very good.
First glass bright. Second very hazy. No doubt from the kickup of bubbles. Verdict : over carb not worth it. I don't much like the taste, either. Harsh.
A very good beer if you like bitter and harsh! Not a chore to drink, thank God.
